Welcome to Chimney Mechanix of Indiana!

I'm Kaitlin Kuhn, the proud owner of Chimney Mechanix of Indiana, and I’m thrilled to share our journey with you. My story begins in Brookston, Indiana, where I live with my wonderful husband, Jason, and our two dogs and two cats. Having spent most of my life in the Greater Lafayette Area, from elementary school through high school, this community has always been close to my heart.

With over two years of hands-on experience under a Master Sweep, I’ve honed my skills and learned the essential tricks of the trade. My passion for the craft grew from a desire to exceed the standards of previous jobs and to create something truly special. I’ve always believed that there’s more to providing excellent service than just doing the job—it's about creating opportunities, giving back to our community, and ensuring top-notch quality and safety.

At Chimney Mechanix of Indiana, our mission is simple: to deliver unparalleled service while fostering a work environment where our team is excited and proud to contribute. We are committed to making every fireplace we touch safe and efficient, backed by my dedication to continuous education through the National Chimney Sweeping Guild and the Chimney Safety Institute of America.

Our journey began when Jasper Drengler, a respected name in the industry, Master Sweep, and owner of Chimney Mechanix LLC in Wisconsin, reached out to me with the opportunity to take over his families in Indiana. His confidence in my upbeat, go-getter attitude inspired me to embark on this new adventure. We’re excited to announce that our official sweeping services will commence on September 1st!
